OFFICIAL FIOL MASTER RULES

 

ORGANIZER

FIOL Master (“Competition”) is an initiative promoted by FIOL S.p.A. (“Organizer”), aimed at enhancing the creativity and skills of bartenders in creating cocktails based on Prosecco.

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • The Competition is open to professional bartenders of legal drinking age residing in the countries where the Competition takes place.
  • Each participant must submit an original cocktail that uses FIOL Prosecco Extra Dry or FIOL Prosecco Rosé as the main ingredient.
  • Registration is free and must be completed within the deadlines specified for each National Final and communicated on FIOL’s official website.
  • Past winners are not eligible to compete again.

 

COMPETITION FORMAT

  • The Competition will take place in different national stages, organized in selected cities of the participating countries.
  • During each stage, participants will present their cocktail to a panel of industry experts.
  • The evaluation criteria will include cocktail balance, innovation, aesthetics, and storytelling behind the creation.

 

 

FINAL PRIZE & AMBASSADORSHIP

The winner of each stage will receive:

  • An exclusive training experience in Italy focused on the world of Prosecco and sparkling cocktails.
  • The training will last approximately two days and will be held in Italy at a location selected by the Organizer.
  • The program will include masterclasses, workshops, and visits to iconic places tied to FIOL’s identity, with in-depth insights into Prosecco and mixology techniques for creating sparkling cocktails.
  • The experience will be led by industry experts, including Kevin Kos.
  • Travel and accommodation expenses for the experience will be fully covered by FIOL.

The winner, as a FIOL Ambassador, will have the opportunity to collaborate with the brand in future initiatives.

 

SELECTION PROCESS

  • Applications must be submitted via the online form available at www.fiol.it/fiol-master within the established deadline.
  • Applications will be evaluated based on the quality of the cocktail recipe and the creativity of the presentation.
  • Judges will select the finalists without considering personal details such as current employer or years of experience in the profession.

 

COCKTAIL GUIDELINES

  • The cocktail must highlight bubbles as a key element.
  • FIOL Prosecco or FIOL Prosecco Rosé must be the main ingredient, with a minimum usage of 60 ml or 60 g.
  • The recipe must contain a maximum of 7 ingredients, including FIOL and garnish.
  • The presentation must include the cocktail name, a detailed ingredient list with precise measurements, preparation instructions, and an image of the cocktail.

 

USAGE RIGHTS

  • By participating in the Competition, bartenders grant FIOL the right to use images, videos, and recipes for promotional and communication purposes.

 

MODIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Organizer reserves the right to modify these rules at any time for organizational reasons or due to force majeure.
  • Participation in the Competition implies full acceptance of these rules.
  • The Organizer will not be held responsible for any delays or logistical issues beyond its control.
