Born in Treviso in 2011, FIOL is a Prosecco crafted from selected Glera grapes in the heart of the DOC area. Clean, vibrant, precisely made, defined by clarity, balance and freshness.

The word FIOL comes from the Venetian dialect. A fiol is someone naturally at ease, confident without effort, the kind of person who makes any moment feel right. That’s the attitude FIOL brings to every bottle.

FIOL was founded in 2011 in Treviso, at the core of the Prosecco DOC production area, by a group of local friends with deep roots in the territory and a shared international outlook.

Treviso is not only a place of production, but a cultural friends for Prosecco. It is where the category was shaped, defined, and scaled globally. Being born here means inheriting a system of knowledge, relationships, and production expertise that ensures both quality and consistency. At the same time, FIOL was conceived not to create another local producer, but to build a brand able to interpret the category for a broader, international audience.

From the vineyards to the glass

Rooted in the traditional DOC vineyards of Treviso, FIOL Prosecco is defined by its use of high-quality Glera grapes from the region’s finest plots. Through a trusted network of growers, FIOL maintains full control over every production stage, from vineyard to bottling, ensuring consistent quality and sustainability.

A light-asset model allows FIOL to select the best grapes each year and work with certified partners for winemaking and logistics. Every batch undergoes independent chemical and organoleptic testing, followed by regular tastings from expert panels. By drawing on the diversity of Treviso’s soils and microclimates, FIOL captures the full aromatic potential of Glera, producing wines that are authentic, elegant, and vibrant.
