Old Cuban Recipe


Like a sip of history, the Old Cuban encapsulates the spirit of a bygone era, where the rhythm of salsa and the warmth of Cuban sunsets set the scene for a night of revelry.

This classic bevy pays homage to the vintage charm of Cuba, with its smooth fusion of rum, mint, and sparkling Prosecco. Before you know it, you’ll be salsaing in the streets. (Dance moves not included in recipe).

 

You will need these ingredients:

8-10          Mint Leaves
1/3 Parts  Dark Rum
3/4 Parts  FIOL Prosecco
1/2 Parts  Lemon Juice
1/2 Parts  Simple Syrup

And it is super easy to make:

  1. Add mint leaves, lemon juice, simple syrup and rum to a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well and double strain into a Martini glass or coupette.
  3. Top with FIOL Prosecco.
  4. Garnish with mint leaf.

Typically served in a Martini glass or coupette.
