The Grapes Behind Prosecco

At the heart of FIOL Prosecco lies the Glera grape, the true protagonist in this sparkling tale. A grape variety with a long history in the picturesque region around Treviso. The Glera grape offers a perfect harmony of flavours, boasting fresh notes of green apple, pear, and hints of citrus, all mingling beautifully with floral undertones. Its natural acidity gives Prosecco that signature zesty and crisp character, making it the perfect sip for any occasion.

FIOL collaborates with over 2000 wine-making families around Treviso to source Glera grapes that are cultivated with the utmost respect for the land and its preservation. In turn, our wine-maker, Marzio Pol, takes care to balance our final Proseccos with the right blend of fruitiness and acidity, a process that starts at the vine and the terroir.

When you pour a glass of FIOL Prosecco, you’re pouring a piece of Italy into your flute. The delicate bubbles, the tantalizing aromas, and the balanced flavours come together to create an experience that’s as authentic as it is enchanting.
